Amazing Heidi! Your recommendations are fantastic - I absolutely love your picks! If you could share your Amazon affiliate link, I'd love to support you while shopping for these items! ❤️
Thank you for tagging me in this! I'm working on a Middle Grades book round up finally - list is a little more comprehensive - lots of ND characters but also themes of trauma, immigration, navigating issues of race, etc.
What a great list! Another one I can recommend related to stuttering is “I talk like a river” by Jordan Scott - great for any child who has difficulty expressing themselves, and the artwork is beautiful. I can’t wait to check out some of these that are missing from my personal library!
Thank you so much for sharing! My stepson is AuADHD as well, and I was only aware of A Friend for Henry on this list. Titles I’d recommend would be: A Day With No Words, Do You Want to Play?, The Boy with Big, Big Feelings, and Trampoline Boy.
Super super list.
Thanks, friend! 💛

Thank you! I don’t have an affiliate link. But I hope you enjoy them when you get there! It’s been really fun reading these with my son.
Great post! I’ll definitely be getting some of these.
👏👏👏

I loved this email and this list Heidi! Thank you for putting this together :)
I’m so glad! Maybe you’ll write one for this list one day. 💛

Oh yes! That was one I liked but my son didn’t get into it. Maybe when he’s a little older!

Oops, I realized you did mention A Day With No Words! Sorry I missed that somehow!
I’m adding yours to my list to check out now! Thank you, Erika! 💛
