In my work with writers (and even in my own work), I find one huge obstacle is often this idea that, especially as moms, we need permission (even our own!) to spend time writing or being creative in any way for the sheer pleasure of it. I love how Eve Brodsky helps to break that mindset in her book, Find Your Unicorn Space.
